We are a grassroots organization vetted by GlobalGiving, the largest crowdfunding platform for non-profits. This ensures that your support goes to the right places and enables us to provide regular reports and updates to engage our supporters.
We became a permanent GlobalGiving partner in September 2021, when we graduated from GlobalGiving’s accelerator program with an overall ranking of 47 out of 632 participating organizations from around the world.
Passive solar classrooms for pre-primary children
This project will build two classrooms and provide learning resources for an Early Childhood Development (ECD) center serving 50 children of ages 4-6 years in Dho Tarap, Dolpo. The earthquake resistant classrooms will be built using passive solar technology to withstand the cold harsh winters, enabling the ECD center to operate for the full calendar year and tackle the challenge of 6 month gap in early education for young children.
